How do I edit an ascent?

How to edit a climb you've already logged, including the grade or date.

To edit a climb from your current session:

  1. Tap the Activity tab at the bottom of your screen.

  2. Tap your current session.

  3. Tap the ellipsis (···) on the climb you want to edit.

  4. Make your changes and tap "Update" in the top right corner.

To edit a climb from a previous session (free users):

  1. Navigate to your profile.

  2. Tap the Ascents List tab (second from the left).

  3. Scroll or filter to the climb, then tap it.

  4. Tap the ellipsis (···) in the top right corner.

  5. Tap "Edit," make your changes, then tap "Update."

KAYA PRO subscribers can use the same flow above, or edit past ascents directly from their logbook history:

  1. Tap the Activity tab.

  2. Use the calendar to find the date of the ascent and tap it.

  3. Scroll down and tap "Edit Logbook."

  4. Tap the pencil icon next to the climb to make changes.

  5. Tap "Update" when done.
